Cary Kiwanis Scholarship
Background
Every year since 1976 the Cary Kiwanis Club has presented scholarship money to graduating seniors from Cary-area high schools. A few years ago, the target population was expanded to include any high school senior that resided within the Cary town limits. Over this time, we have awarded over $150,000 to deserving high school seniors. The value of the scholarship(s) varies from year to year depending on the number of applicants and finalists and the financial condition of the Club.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply, you must fulfill one of these two qualifying requirements:
1. Be a graduating high school senior from one of these four high schools:
Cary High School
Apex High School

OR
2. Be a graduating senior from any recognized, accredited high school AND reside within the Cary town limits. Generally, this means that custodial parents/legal guardians pay Cary municipal taxes.
